Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aurelio Acosta made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Virgilio Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Virgilio Ursino came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Mogigasta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Ursino couldn't finish the play. In the 7th match minute, Cangallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Gil to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Aurelio Acosta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Donato Rufio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donato Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Acosta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Rufio was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Claudio Johans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Shantala in the 25th minute. Aurelio Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Donato Rufio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 39 minutes, Alfonso Matxin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangallo and the Mogigasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Cangallo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Matxin to maneuver through the defense. Donato Rufio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Acosta's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 45 minutes into the match, Cangallo's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Acosta came free, but Donato Rufio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfonso Matxin made a kick off. Cangallo were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Mogigasta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jairo Sabino took the corner. Cangallo's Jairo Sabino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudio Johans in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mogigasta's Aurelio Acosta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Virgilio Ursino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogigasta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Ursino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cangallo's Jose Padro got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Virgilio Ursino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Acosta in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Rufio saved Cangallo from getting behind. Mogigasta's Claudio Johans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Matxin in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edgard Shantala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudio Johans was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Donato Rufio came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mogigasta's Virgilio Ursino. But to his dismay, Virgilio Ursino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Mogigasta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
