The Cangallo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alfonso Matxin succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Alfonso Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robustiano Ermengol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgard Shantala in the 27th minute. Edgard Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Robustiano Ermengol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Alfonso Matxin made the kick off in the second half. Evelio Corderall might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Rufio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evelio Corderall ran back to his position shaking his head. When Timoteo Bide came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Guaviraví AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Bide couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute of the match Alejo Giro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robustiano Ermengol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ignacio Merexildo was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Robustiano Ermengol came out of the goal and Edgard Shantala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cangallo's Alfonso Matxin got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 99 played minutes, Cangallo's Jairo Sabino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robustiano Ermengol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cangallo reached it. When the referee ended the match the Cangallo players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
