An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Raphael in the 47th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper 袁延鹏 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Olimpo FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stian Steinsland made a kick off. 袁延鹏 was a little too slow when Alejandro Raphael got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. It was a penalty for Chorroarín! When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Olimpo FC's Stian Steinsland got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 袁延鹏. The supporters of Olimpo FC booed when Chorroarín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Musko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 袁延鹏 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Raphael in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Olimpo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chorroarín.
