The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krisztián Orbán received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Melquiades Egun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Egun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Orbán, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Silvestre Aballe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Egun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Benfica FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Carmelo Aires hit a great ball. Silvestre Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvestre Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Melquiades Egun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Silvestre Aballe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes, Pastor Kepa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benfica FC and the chancletazo fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Benfica FC's Pastor Kepa got a free kick in the 31st minute. Krisztián Orbán did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Melquiades Egun 34 minutes into the match. Benfica FC's attentive Pastor Kepa managed to snatch the ball when Esteban Urtats made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Krisztián Orbán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Benfica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Orbán came free, but Melquiades Egun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krisztián Orbán couldn't finish the play. Melquiades Egun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Orbán, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Silvestre Aballe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Egun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Melquiades Egun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Krisztián Orbán's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Silvestre Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Oro having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Benfica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Orbán came free, but Melquiades Egun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Urtats got a throw-in 91 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fidel Aires. Krisztián Orbán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
