Raf United FC's Kadri Taygun got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute Andres Chesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Chesus in the 7th minute of play forced Argentinos del Sur's goalkeeper Cristobal Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kadri Taygun took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristobal Lauro. Cristobal Lauro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcelino Urdin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Ixaka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Argentinos del Sur's Cristobal Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Chesus in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Arturo Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argentinos del Sur's Cristobal Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Sotil in the 16th minute of play. If Marcelino Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonel Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Andres Chesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristobal Lauro. Argentinos del Sur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Chesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 27th minute, Arturo Sotil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raf United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Marcelino Urdin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Argentinos del Sur's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Chesus in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristobal Lauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Peruxus short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Santiago Ixaka to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Argentinos del Sur's Saturnino Dantel got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Argentinos del Sur's David Gartzea got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cristobal Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadri Taygun in the 46th minute of the match. Leonel Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Chesus to strike the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Dantel hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Andres Chesus took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Cristobal Lauro to make any attempt to save it. Argentinos del Sur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Andres Chesus scored to the left of an out of position Cristobal Lauro, making the score, 0-5. When Marcelino Urdin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Argentinos del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Urdin couldn't finish the play. Raf United FC's Roque Lazcano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cristobal Lauro but with some difficulty. In the 64th minute, Robustiano Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Raf United FC booed when Argentinos del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Dimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Lauro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Chesus in the 73rd minute. Leonel Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Santiago Ixaka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Argentinos del Sur getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Saturnino Dantel hit a great ball. Argentinos del Sur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Andres Chesus scored to the left of an out of position Cristobal Lauro, making the score, 0-6. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Dantel in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santiago Ixaka saved Raf United FC from getting behind. Cristobal Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadri Taygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Sotil in the 97th minute of play forced Argentinos del Sur's goalkeeper Cristobal Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Raf United FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Raf United FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
