The audience was convinced that Kadri Taygun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Munio was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. When Tiburcio Bembe fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espartillar AFC's protests and gave Tiburcio Bembe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Espartillar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Bembe to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Espartillar AFC defense, Andres Chesus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Munio. The Espartillar AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Munio should have stopped the shot. Andres Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espartillar AFC's Edgard Munio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Chesus in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Raf United FC booed when Espartillar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Castillo Laguno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Andres Chesus in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kadri Taygun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadri Taygun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Celino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Ixaka having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Roque Lazcano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raf United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espartillar AFC the free kick. 37 minutes into the match, Federico Piorno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Munio. Espartillar AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Piorno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 40th minute, Andres Chesus made a precise shot to the right of Edgard Munio. Espartillar AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. If Salvador Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Gaizko to make the kick off. Andres Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Raf United FC's Arturo Sotil to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgard Munio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edgard Munio made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Andres Chesus sent off a good shot on target. Andres Chesus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Chesuss short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Edgard Munio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 68 minutes into the match, Espartillar AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Munio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andres Chesus. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espartillar AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roque Lazcano was slow to take the kick. During this time Raf United FC's players had a chance to rest. Andres Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Munio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Munio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Chesus in the 75th minute of play. Raf United FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roque Lazcano in the 76th minute. A nice corner shot did that Roque Lazcano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgard Munio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Andres Chesus took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Edgard Munio to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st minute, Andres Chesus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Raf United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Andres Chesus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Edgard Munio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edgard Munio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raf United FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
