Nicasio Martxot made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Christian Bras sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Denis Isias made a precise shot to the right of Nicasio Martxot. Loki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Denis Isias might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Martxot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Isias ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicasio Martxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Christian Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Isias struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nicasio Martxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes Ahletic Club. In the 26th minute, Quilmes Ahletic Club's Denis Isias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicasio Martxot. Nicasio Martxot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Evelio Bembe kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Domingo Distiratsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes Ahletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Distiratsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Martxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evald Vaht shot from long distance in the 41st minute, but Nicasio Martxot was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 44 minutes into the game, Eduardo Figueroa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Godofredo Omero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Eduardo Figueroa made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Denis Isias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Quilmes Ahletic Club's Denis Isias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicasio Martxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Quilmes Ahletic Club booed when Loki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Denis Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Martxot was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Higinio Geofredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicasio Martxot. Loki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Geofredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. If Denis Isias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godofredo Omero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduardo Figueroa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-2 in the 96 minute of play. There was no doubt that Quilmes Ahletic Club were the better team. Quilmes Ahletic Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
