The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Celso Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Iraunkor having to interfere. When Celso Fortun came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the anti k fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Fortun couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Raebert kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, anti k's Florencio Eladio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rigoberto Iraunkor. Rigoberto Iraunkor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Esquiú's Mariano Sarracino got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Werner Meer fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquiú's protests and gave Werner Meer a yellow card for diving instead. 39 minutes into the match, Celso Fortun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Iraunkor. Esquiú's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celso Fortun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Leonardo Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Inocencio Estebe fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquiú's protests and gave Inocencio Estebe a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Esquiú got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Estebe.

After a defensive mix-up in Esquiú's zone, Celso Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rigoberto Iraunkor came out of the goal and Celso Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Fortun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Celso Fortun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Iraunkor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 69 minutes into the game, Celso Fortun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. anti k's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquiú the free kick. In the 69th minute, Celso Fortun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esquiú's Rigoberto Iraunkor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Fortun in the 78th minute of play. Celso Fortun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Iraunkor having to make a save. Celso Fortun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Iraunkor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Celso Fortun took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Iraunkor. Rigoberto Iraunkor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Herbert Opat struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Horacio Segio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquiú. 94 minutes into the match, anti k's goalkeeper Horacio Segio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Opat. After a defensive mix-up in anti k's zone, Eleuterio Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horacio Segio came out of the goal and Eleuterio Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. anti k walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
