A collision led to ROSARIO getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jorge Malvin hit a great ball. ROSARIO's Benjamin Maties proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save ROSARIO from getting a goal against them. Sportivo Policial Devoto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabio Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Nestor Eutor made the kick off in the second half. If Aldo Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aldo Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Maties having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Aldo Aragones notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ROSARIO's Benjamin Maties. Benjamin Maties was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 69th minute of the match Jorge Malvin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Benjamin Maties stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the match, ROSARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Bernaldo came free, but Benjamin Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Francisco Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Francisco Bernaldo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Maties. ROSARIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Bernaldo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Sportivo Policial Devoto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
