Siro Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Edelmiro Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Plucinik charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Konrad Plucinik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Pumas Corrientes got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Plucinik. Pastor Loren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Anacleto Jokin made a huge save. In the 18th minute, Jesus Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hipolito Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Loren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anacleto Jokin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Siro Madaleno took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Ponce. Edelmiro Ponce dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 32 played minutes Pumas Corrientes got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Iyan. 34 minutes into the match, Pumas Corrientes's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Tauro came free, but Anacleto Jokin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Jokin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Tauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hipolito Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Edelmiro Ponce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Leon Belasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pumas Corrientes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Belasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pumas Corrientes's Leon Belasko got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Artizar's late challenge caught a Pumas Corrientes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Artizar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44thth minute of the game Siro Madaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urquiza FC's Edelmiro Ponce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Siro Madaleno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leon Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Ponce having to interfere. Pumas Corrientes's Siro Madaleno got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urquiza FC's Edelmiro Ponce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Urquiza FC from getting a goal against them. Leon Belasko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edelmiro Ponce came out and tried to block the shot, but Leon Belasko slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leon Belasko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edelmiro Ponce. That made the score 0-4 in the 69 minute of play. Leon Belasko struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Edelmiro Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pumas Corrientes. Edelmiro Ponce came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pumas Corrientes's Leon Belasko. But to his dismay, Leon Belasko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Hipolito Dodorol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Edelmiro Ponce skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Pumas Corrientes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Urquiza FC throughout the match.
