Cosme Gaitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Quenumá FC defense, Flavio Vachon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Gaitano. The Quenumá FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Gaitano should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Quenumá FC booed when Matorrales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quenumá FC's Cosme Gaitano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Iratxo in the 20th minute of play. Cosme Gaitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Sotero in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Quenumá FC's Juste Radostin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 34 minutes into the match, Quenumá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Vachon came free, but Cosme Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Sotero scored 1-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Gaitano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Quenumá FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Iratxo came free, but Cosme Gaitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabian Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Niceto Iratxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matorrales FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Iratxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cosme Gaitano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Vachon in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Gaitano saved Quenumá FC from getting behind. After the first half Matorrales FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Sotero made a kick off. Nunez Ciceron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juste Radostin in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Matorrales FC booed when Quenumá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Sotero took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Gaitano. Cosme Gaitano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Anastasio Sotero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Cosme Gaitano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Anastasio Sotero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, Matorrales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Raphael to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Gaitano having to interfere. The Quenumá FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. In the 82nd minute, Arturo Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Romelio hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Matorrales FC's Nunez Ciceron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juste Radostin in the 85th minute of play. Rogelio Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Matorrales FC's Rogelio Brais got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Matorrales FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
