In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Coholicos's goalkeeper Leonardo Honrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Fabian Austin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Coholicos's Leonardo Honrio. Leonardo Honrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Moises Txaran came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Saxlum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Txaran couldn't finish the play. With 24 minutes on the clock, Silverio Dimo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cesar Tajo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Koldobika got free with Mariano Lixandro in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute, Cecilio Ur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Txaran in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Honrio saved Real Coholicos from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Lore during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Real Coholicos booed when Saxlum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moises Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Txaran made a kick off. Leonardo Honrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Austin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Saxlum's Cipriano Resto got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cesar Tajo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Jaime Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Lixandro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saxlum's Moises Txaran in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fabian Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Honrio having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Moises Txaran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Fabian Austin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Coholicos's zone, Fabian Austin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Honrio came out of the goal and Fabian Austin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Real Coholicos defense, Moises Txaran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Honrio. The Real Coholicos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Honrio should have stopped the shot. Moises Txaran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Leonardo Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Leonardo Honrio managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Saxlum's Moises Txaran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 92nd minute Moises Txaran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saxlum played a much better game than Real Coholicos and deserved their victory. The Real Coholicos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
