Ullún FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lorenzo Mirande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Theobald having to interfere. A collision led to Canallas Del Oeste getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aldo Zaccardi hit a great ball. Canallas Del Oeste's Ivan Munio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Segundo Cordarin, made in the 43rd minute of the game. Cayetano Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Theobald having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Ihintza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Ullún FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Alberto Rutenio in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Canallas Del Oeste's Ricardo Hunfredo. In the 67th minute of the game, Hilario Sotil landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Aldo Zaccardi charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Zaccardi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aldo Zaccardi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Mirande might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Theobald. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Mirande ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Benitez in the 79th minute of play forced Canallas Del Oeste's goalkeeper Hipolito Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Canallas Del Oeste's zone, Reynaldo Benitez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Theobald came out of the goal and Reynaldo Benitez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Octavio Eguzki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Angelino Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Canallas Del Oeste's Hipolito Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Clemencin in the 93rd minute of play. If Lorenzo Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
