After 45 played minutes Fermin Geofredo rounded Catamarca's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Carlomagno was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Catamarca's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Menendo came free, but Tomás Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Gualterio Edwardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. neuquen futbol club's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Edwardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Tomás Opilano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualterio Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Opilano having to interfere. There was no doubt that neuquen futbol club were the better team. neuquen futbol club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
