The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Trilí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Guzman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Incendio in the 6th minute of play forced Trilí's goalkeeper Angel Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ruben Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Quinta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Incendio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Quilino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Trilí's Angel Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Ubendu in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Rene Tibalt made a precise shot to the right of Angel Quilino. Trilí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. La Quinta FC's Fabio Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Pires in the 16th minute of play. Cirilo Rios in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Ostots, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rene Tibalt kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Fabio Ostots made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Pires in the 22nd minute of play. Trilí's Angel Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Tibalt in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Pires in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Ostots prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Tibalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Quilino having to interfere. Angel Quilino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Tibalt's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. A collision led to Trilí getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sandro Pires hit a great ball. If Ruben Incendio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rene Tibalt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Quilino was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. When Rene Tibalt came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the La Quinta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Tibalt couldn't finish the play. Candido Ramos hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Sandro Pires made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in La Quinta FC's zone, Sandro Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Ostots came out of the goal and Sandro Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Ostots showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Rios in the 65th minute of the match. Rene Tibalt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Quilino having to make a save. A hard shot 79 in the game by Rene Tibalt from a close distance when the talented Angel Quilino managed to make a qualified save. Trilí's players were relieved. Rene Tibalt had several of the Trilí's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Angel Quilino as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 88 minutes, Carlos Augusto Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trilí and the La Quinta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Trilí's Carlos Augusto Viana got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Clemente Bazil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Quilino skillfully saved the ball. Marcos Ubendu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Quilino having to make a save. Angel Quilino made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Rene Tibalt sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Ubendu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.
