Spectators: 7041 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) Ruperto Montez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Cieneguillas's Ivan Gentza got a free kick in the 7th minute. Ruperto Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Yigitcan Yanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club.Atlético Reggina's Guillermo Barrio got a free kick in the 11th minute. Yigitcan Yanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Montez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Ruperto Montez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cieneguillas's Yigitcan Yanal. Yigitcan Yanal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cieneguillas's Yigitcan Yanal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Montez in the 28th minute of play. Ruperto Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ruperto Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Sanchez during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute Ruperto Montez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yigitcan Yanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yigitcan Yanal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Waldoch in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Montez in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yigitcan Yanal saved Cieneguillas from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Sanchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ruperto Montez scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yigitcan Yanal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Cieneguillas's Emilio Sanchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 63 minutes into the game, Ruperto Montez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yigitcan Yanal. Ruperto Montez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Ruperto Montez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Yigitcan Yanal made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Tonete during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Simon Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Yigitcan Yanal made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ruperto Montez sent off a good shot on target. Rio Ferdinand received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yigitcan Yanal came out and tried to block the shot, but Rio Ferdinand slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 86th minute. Ivan Gentza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Iraitz having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Victoriano Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club.Atlético Reggina played a much better game than Cieneguillas and deserved their victory. The Cieneguillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
