Pitu FC's Omar Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Peruxu in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Nethago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Bras came free, but Delmiro Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match, Eugenio Celio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delmiro Itzaina saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cornelio Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Peruxu in the 41st minute of play forced Pitu FC's goalkeeper Omar Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nethago FC booed when Pitu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Freddy Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Nuno charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedicto Nuno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Peruxu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Omar Valentine when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Freddy Peruxu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nethago FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 65th minute Adan Sidoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmiro Itzaina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nethago FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ramiro Rios was slow to take the kick. During this time Pitu FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ramiro Rios got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Delmiro Itzaina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Freddy Peruxu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Omar Valentine made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Tebaldo in the 78th minute of play forced Pitu FC's goalkeeper Omar Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Pitu FC got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Barea. After having played for 86 minutes, Prospero Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nethago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Lucero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Nethago FC's Tomás Guillem seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tomás Guillem the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nethago FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tomás Guillem had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Nethago FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pitu FC:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Pitu FC. Ramiro Rios stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Delmiro Itzaina. 2-2. Prospero Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pitu FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Cornelio Tebaldo scored to the left of an out of position Omar Valentine, making the score, 2-3. 97 minutes into the match, Nethago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Celio came free, but Delmiro Itzaina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 99 minutes into the match, Eugenio Celio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmiro Itzaina. Nethago FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Celio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
