Gervasio Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Crotto's Gervasio Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Ekialde in the 39th minute of play. Marcos Guillerme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Sixto Santiago made a huge save. Gervasio Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Pelagius in the 43rd minute of play. Placido Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Crotto players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Devoto Strikers were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Guillerme made a kick off. Sixto Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Berriotxoa in the 56th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Devoto Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Inko came free, but Sixto Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Gauargi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Placido Presebal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Devoto Strikers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crotto the free kick. In the 66th match minute, Devoto Strikers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Ekialde to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Loiola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixto Santiago. Devoto Strikers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gervasio Gauargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Pelagius in the 69th minute. Rosendo Pelagius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gervasio Gauargi came out and tried to block the shot, but Rosendo Pelagius slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Silvio Tavio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Gauargi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Pelagius in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Devoto Strikers's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Guillerme came free, but Sixto Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rosendo Pelagius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gervasio Gauargi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Devoto Strikers's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
