Spectators: 6638 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Maurino got the match started through his kick off. A very good chance. After 17 minutes, Inácio Setúbal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mataderos and the Depo Merlo Oeste players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Mataderos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Setúbal to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Mataderos defense, Ambrosio Mazuste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Gabino. The Mataderos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Gabino should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Mataderos's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Ishmael came free, but Severino Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Mazuste in the 39th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Arturo Cordara got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Severino Gabino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mataderos's Severino Gabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Ishmael in the 43rd minute of play. 48 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Mazuste cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Severino Gabino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Horacio Ishmael took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Severino Gabino to make any attempt to save it. Severino Gabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Cordara in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Lucas Maurino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mataderos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Mambru during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Isias got free with Severino Gabino in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, Depo Merlo Oeste's Carlos Isias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Gabino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Lucas Maurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oscar Maraman fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mataderos's protests and gave Oscar Maraman a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Maraman hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Severino Gabino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Isias in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute Carlos Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Gabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Isias got free with Severino Gabino in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saul Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Maraman in the 95th minute of play. The Mataderos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Depo Merlo Oeste were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
