The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Romildo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, RoMpEpOrToNeS FC's Justo Romildo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Adan Havier might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Emenon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Havier ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgardo Froylan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Emenon having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Fabian Grigson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucio Miliano was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Eterno Retorno's Edgardo Froylan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Reynaldo Ixona hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Edgardo Froylan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Serafino Emenon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of RoMpEpOrToNeS FC booed when Eterno Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Frichoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Miliano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Grigson in the 26th minute of play. RoMpEpOrToNeS FC's Serafino Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Tohias in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Fabian Grigson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucio Miliano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabian Grigson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Havier in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Emenon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eterno Retorno's Lucio Miliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Grigson in the 39th minute of play. Teobaldo Tohias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Emenon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eterno Retorno fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Lucio Miliano went to the wrong direction when Segundo Astigar was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After the first half Eterno Retorno were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Grigson made a kick off. Lucio Miliano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Grigson in the 53rd minute of play. Edgardo Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Serafino Emenon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Zeledon Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Robustiano Cidro made a precise shot to the right of Lucio Miliano. Eterno Retorno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Eterno Retorno's Agustin Micael got a free kick in the 71st minute. Eterno Retorno's Lucio Miliano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Grigson in the 73rd minute of play. Adan Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes of play, RoMpEpOrToNeS FC's Fabian Grigson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Miliano was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Eterno Retorno's zone, Robustiano Cidro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Miliano came out of the goal and Robustiano Cidro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Fabian Grigson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Grigson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Miliano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Grigson ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 86 minutes, Anier Heriberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RoMpEpOrToNeS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anier Heriberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Eterno Retorno getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Agustin Micael hit a great ball. In the 94th match minute, Eterno Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Froylan to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Miliano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Grigson in the 96th minute of play.
