Donato Atarrabi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Fernan Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Milian having to interfere. In the 31st match minute, Piedritas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Atarrabi to maneuver through the defense. Piedritas's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mirko Božić 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. 41 minutes into the game, C.A.I El Orgullo Nacional's Aquiles Mark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angel Eduino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Leo Milian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Gamus in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute Fernan Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mirko Božić made a kick off. With a little luck, C.A.I El Orgullo Nacional's Leo Milian got control of the ball when Delmar Favila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angel Eduino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Eduino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Leoiar in the 62nd minute of play. Leo Milian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Atarrabi in the 64th minute of the match. Angel Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Geronimo Leoiar made a precise shot to the right of Angel Eduino. Piedritas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Angel Eduino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Leo Milian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donato Atarrabi in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Piedritas's Santiago Boniel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leo Milian. Leo Milian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Delmar Favila charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Favila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Piedritas got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Favila. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.I El Orgullo Nacional had won after a very even match.
