Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Garaona in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Ubelteso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24thth minute of the game Apolo Eliazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Telmo's Baldomero Ubelteso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apolo Eliazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Ubelteso having to interfere. San Telmo's Baldomero Ubelteso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Stanislao in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Camilo Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Ubelteso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Atlas Football Club 5's goalkeeper Roscoe Rosas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Estebano. The Atlas Football Club 5 fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Atlas Football Club 5's Camilo Garaona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Neto made a kick off. Roscoe Rosas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Telmo. Sergio Romano charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Romano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Telmo booed when Atlas Football Club 5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Romano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Ruy kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When the match was over Atlas Football Club 5 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Telmo throughout the match.
