Fabricio Betadur might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Viator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Los Piratas de Alberdi booed when Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position.
