Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carmelo Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta's Carmelo Maraman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Maurino scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alberto Clemencin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Moises Maurino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alberto Clemencin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fabricio Betadur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 minutes, Fabricio Betadur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta and the Fondoblanko Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Betadur. Alberto Clemencin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alberto Clemencin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Maurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rico Abildtrup made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta's Olexiy Dukhno. After 42 minutes of play, Fondoblanko Fútbol Club's Moises Maurino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Clemencin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carmelo Maraman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Alex Erbașu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Clemencin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fabricio Betadur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Clemencin came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Fondoblanko Fútbol Club's Moises Maurino. But to his dismay, Moises Maurino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Fondoblanko Fútbol Club's Paolo Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Maraman in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta were awarded a corner. Rogelio Mino went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta's Fabricio Betadur got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Carmelo Maraman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the game, Esteban Lico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fondoblanko Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gimnasia y Tiro de Salta the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fondoblanko Fútbol Club's Esteban Lico got a free kick in the 70th minute. Alberto Clemencin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Maurino in the 86th minute. Esteban Lico got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Esteban Lico kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Fondoblanko Fútbol Club's Moises Maurino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7.
