Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severo Mambru started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd play minute Severo Mambru came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Herminio Iaki. 1-0. After some careless play in the Bermejo AFC defense, Severo Mambru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Iaki. The Bermejo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Iaki should have stopped the shot. If Jorge Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Severo Mambru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Wilfredo Donzel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo AFC's zone, Severo Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Iaki came out of the goal and Severo Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wilfredo Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Bermejo AFC's goalkeeper Herminio Iaki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Mambru. Hilario Eutropio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iaki having to interfere. Herminio Iaki made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Severo Mambru sent off a good shot on target. Siro Blai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Perpinya in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Eutropio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Hartz was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Siro Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Mambru in the 56th minute of play. When Sergio Fero fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goyena AFC's protests and gave Sergio Fero a yellow card for diving instead. Siro Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bermejo AFC's Mauricio Geofredo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Severo Mambru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Herminio Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Fero in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Goyena AFC were awarded a corner. Godfredo Abajas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Goyena AFC's corner Godfredo Abajas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herminio Iaki quite easily take care of the ball. Severo Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Herminio Iaki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Perpinya's late challenge caught a Goyena AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Perpinya helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Goyena AFC booed when Bermejo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Perpinya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Sergio Fero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bermejo AFC's Herminio Iaki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herminio Iaki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Godfredo Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Mambru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Iaki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Sergio Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Wilfredo Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Severo Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goyena AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
