The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Domingos Jaunzuria came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Jamaica FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingos Jaunzuria couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Jaunzuria in the 11th minute of play forced Cente Fc's goalkeeper Baldomiro Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evelio Gonzalez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Ado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Jaunzuria's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Domingos Jaunzuria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Lastur, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Evelio Gonzalez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Teofilo Xabat made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Cente Fc's zone, Domingos Jaunzuria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Ado came out of the goal and Domingos Jaunzuria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Bernaldo was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Cente Fc's Baldomiro Ado got control of the ball when Jonas Lastur tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Lastur got free with Baldomiro Ado in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica FC's zone, Paulino Bernaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teofilo Xabat came out of the goal and Paulino Bernaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Gizon in the 62nd minute of play forced Jamaica FC's goalkeeper Teofilo Xabat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulino Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Cente Fc's Evelio Gonzalez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teofilo Xabat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Romeo Quinton made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Ado. Cente Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The supporters of Cente Fc booed when Jamaica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Xabat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Bernaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Romeo Quinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Quinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomiro Ado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Lastur in the 79th minute. Cente Fc's Baldomiro Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Jaunzuria in the 83rd minute of play. Octavio Sidoro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Teofilo Xabat came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Cente Fc's Evelio Gonzalez. But to his dismay, Evelio Gonzalez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Jamaica FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
