Filomeno Evangelista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Unai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Sotil to make the kick off. Filomeno Evangelista who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Nunez Unai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Talagapa FC's Eliseo Osoitz in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lihuenanti's goalie prevented a goal. Nunez Unai came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Lihuenanti's Filomeno Evangelista. But to his dismay, Filomeno Evangelista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Lihuenanti's Rodolfo Naelio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talagapa FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! A hard shot 96 in the game by Filomeno Evangelista from a close distance when the talented Nunez Unai managed to make a qualified save. Talagapa FC's players were relieved. The Lihuenanti players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
