Narciso Tebaldo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 13 played minutes Sorocayense FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Karmel. After 14 played minutes, Oyolas's Rogelio Luzaide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guillermo Rey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oyolas reached it. Guillermo Rey made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Gaston Bras sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Bras got free with Guillermo Rey in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Narciso Tebaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Gaston Bras got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guillermo Rey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
