Blas Abarca struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Isidoro Bixintxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jobson. Isidoro Bixintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Abarca, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Freddy Mazuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th match minute, Jobson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Abarca to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Jobson's Cirilo Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Bixintxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eusebio Maurino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Sotero having to interfere. When Freddy Mazuste, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 27 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Celedonio Sotero was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo Tirate al pasto booed when Jobson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Tirate al pasto's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Cirilo Franco scored to the left of an out of position Isidoro Bixintxo, making the score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Jobson's zone, Freddy Mazuste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Sotero came out of the goal and Freddy Mazuste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Mazuste in the 43rd minute of play forced Jobson's goalkeeper Celedonio Sotero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Freddy Mazuste made the kick off in the second half. Freddy Mazuste hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Blas Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Mazuste in the 56th minute of play. If Alonzo Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jobson's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Freddy Mazuste 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Celedonio Sotero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Mazuste's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After some careless play in the Jobson defense, Freddy Mazuste kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Sotero. The Jobson fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Sotero should have stopped the shot. Blas Abarca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Isidoro Bixintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
