Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emilio Primeiro kicked off to start the match. Genaro Silbestre came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.I.U.C's Leonel Berdoi. But to his dismay, Leonel Berdoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cayetano Harkaitz struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Teofilo Cambranes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astica. 8 minutes into the game, Erubiel Ursino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teofilo Cambranes. Erubiel Ursino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Astica's Erubiel Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Erubiel Ursino took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Teofilo Cambranes to make any attempt to save it. Erubiel Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Teofilo Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Astica's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Odon came free, but Genaro Silbestre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Genaro Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Emilio Primeiro notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Astica's Genaro Silbestre. Genaro Silbestre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erubiel Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Cambranes having to interfere. In the 37th minute Erubiel Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Cambranes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Harkaitz got free with Teofilo Cambranes in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimeno Beturian took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teofilo Cambranes. C.A.I.U.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Astica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.A.I.U.C were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Ursino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Ursino in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Cambranes saved C.A.I.U.C from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Ursino in the 57th minute of play forced C.A.I.U.C's goalkeeper Teofilo Cambranes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.I.U.C's Teofilo Cambranes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ursino in the 58th minute of play. Teofilo Cambranes came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Astica's Cayetano Harkaitz. But to his dismay, Cayetano Harkaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The audience was convinced that Emilio Primeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Silbestre was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Arturo Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Astica's Erubiel Ursino in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.I.U.C's goalie prevented a goal. Gaspar Odon charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Odon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gaspar Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Astica's Erubiel Ursino in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.I.U.C's goalie prevented a goal. Teofilo Cambranes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Astica players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
