In the 18th minute of the match Gaston Fliz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Bernebe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Luciano Egoi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Union De Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Egoi couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Domiku got free with Eusebio Bernebe in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luciano Egoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Eusebio Bernebe made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Madaleno in the 23rd minute of play forced Union De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Isaac Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind The GhOsT!'s goalkeeper Eusebio Bernebe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ambrosio Domiku struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Eusebio Bernebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union De Santa Fe. Gaston Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Isaac Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Reno kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes The GhOsT! got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Jerrald. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Madaleno to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Union De Santa Fe's Cristo Reno got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Madaleno in the 55th minute of play forced Union De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Isaac Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ambrosio Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union De Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Domiku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Bernebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Union De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Isaac Pitin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Jerrald. The GhOsT!'s Eusebio Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Egoi in the 66th minute of play. Edgard Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Union De Santa Fe booed when The GhOsT! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Edgard Gutierrez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaac Pitin. Edgard Gutierrez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Gaston Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Isaac Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Bernebe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Domiku's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Luciano Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eusebio Bernebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Union De Santa Fe's Luciano Egoi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebio Bernebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Union De Santa Fe's Ambrosio Domiku got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Union De Santa Fe walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
