The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octavio Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Tartaruga got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Eufrasio. The supporters of Tartaruga booed when The Junkies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Jax took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Octavio Louis. The Junkies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 14 played minutes The Junkies got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Ilazki. The Junkies's attentive Siro Bastiaro managed to snatch the ball when Adrian Gaueko made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. The long shot by Siro Bastiaro in the 20th minute really tested Gaudencio Lucado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arvīds Freidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Louis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arvīds Freidis ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Ivan Jax notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of The Junkies's Octavio Louis. Octavio Louis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Junkies's Octavio Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Jax in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Jax in the 35th minute of play forced The Junkies's goalkeeper Octavio Louis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvīds Freidis scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Octavio Louis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Junkies's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Arvīds Freidis scored to the left of an out of position Octavio Louis, making the score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, The Junkies's Siro Bastiaro got a free kick in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Arvīds Freidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Louis. The Junkies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvīds Freidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 60 minutes, Ivan Jax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tartaruga and the The Junkies players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of The Junkies booed when Tartaruga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Ivan Jax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Tartaruga's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Ramirez came free, but Gaudencio Lucado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, The Junkies's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Eufrasio came free, but Octavio Louis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Octavio Louis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Gaueko hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Casimiro Ramirez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaudencio Lucado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Octavio Louis made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Arvīds Freidis sent off a good shot on target. Tartaruga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
