An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Roldanillo in the 9th minute of play forced Larsen's goalkeeper Bo Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Zachrisson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Taurino in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Arana AFC's Edgardo Columbo got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Patxi in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Lixandro saved Arana AFC from getting behind. When Edgardo Columbo fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arana AFC's protests and gave Edgardo Columbo a yellow card for diving instead. Edgardo Columbo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute Julio Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Harri in the 21st minute of play forced Larsen's goalkeeper Bo Zachrisson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Larsen's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Roldanillo came free, but Bo Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Larsen's Bo Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Harri in the 26th minute of play. Bo Zachrisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Harri in the 41st minute of the match. Bo Zachrisson came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arana AFC's Lucio Galeno. But to his dismay, Lucio Galeno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Julian Patxi took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Lixandro. Luis Lixandro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After the first half Larsen were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Patxi was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Larsen booed when Arana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Taurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arana AFC's goalkeeper Luis Lixandro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, one of Larsen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Victor Ebardo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Larsen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Arana AFC:s goal. In the 74th minute of the match, Julian Patxi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luis Lixandro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Larsen's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Taurino came free, but Bo Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bo Zachrisson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Taurino went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Arana AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Larsen a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kauldi Menchaca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Arana AFC's Luis Lixandro. 2-4. 94 minutes into the match, Larsen's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Harri came free, but Bo Zachrisson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Arana AFC defense, Julian Patxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Lixandro. The Arana AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Lixandro should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Larsen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
