With a little luck, Muchohuevo's Enzo Odon got control of the ball when Leszek Liberko tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leszek Liberko came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Resbalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leszek Liberko couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes, Santiago Fidele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muchohuevo and the Resbalito players grew even worse after the yellow card. Resbalito's Cosmin Dacian got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muchohuevo's Enzo Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Liberko in the 22nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
