Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Konstanty Paprotny took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Delmiro Gelmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Galeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Gelmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Galeno having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ciénaga's zone, Cesar Jacindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Galeno came out of the goal and Cesar Jacindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio James took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feliciano Etor. Garuapé's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Garuapé's Delmiro Gelmiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Galeno was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Aldo Frans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciénaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 22 minutes, Hermengildo Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciénaga and the Garuapé players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciénaga's goalkeeper Tomas Galeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Conrado Garoa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 35th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Etor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Donato Miro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomas Galeno. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 68th match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Daunte to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes, Marcelino Daunte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ciénaga and the Garuapé players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Garuapé booed when Ciénaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Ciénaga's Tomas Galeno got control of the ball when Konstanty Paprotny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cosme Ixidor's late challenge caught a Garuapé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Frans in the 92nd minute of play forced Garuapé's goalkeeper Feliciano Etor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstanty Paprotny who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Tomas Galeno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Gelmiro got free with Tomas Galeno in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 98 minutes into the match, Ciénaga's goalkeeper Tomas Galeno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Gabon. Garuapé's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
