Godofredo Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 12 in the game by Aldo Frans from a close distance when the talented Godofredo Mundo managed to make a qualified save. Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s players were relieved. Conrado Garoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godofredo Mundo having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Garoa came free, but Godofredo Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes, Apolo Guzman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Llego el Lecherooooooo! and the Ciénaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Apolo Guzman hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Agustin Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s Hipolito Amaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomas Galeno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godofredo Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Garoa in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s goalkeeper Godofredo Mundo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Santos Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Galeno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Mundo having to interfere. Aldo Frans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Godofredo Mundo made a huge save. Agustin Roland's late challenge caught a Ciénaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agustin Roland helped the player get up and apologised. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Garoa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Amaya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tomas Galeno made a huge save. Santos Romano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Galeno having to interfere. After having played for 60 minutes, Aldo Frans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciénaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Frans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Llego el Lecherooooooo! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Guzman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Llego el Lecherooooooo!'s zone, Aldo Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Mundo came out of the goal and Aldo Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
