Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alejo Fiz started the match with the kick off. Alejo Fiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Acuña in the 6th minute of play forced Ceibalito's goalkeeper Cristobal Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Barto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Fiz in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Froilan Rioja reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Navarro. The goal made the score 1-0. Alejo Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inocencio Acuña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juan Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Juan Navarro made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Adriana Santo sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Romero made a kick off. Gerardo Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Erubiel Gudesteo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceibalito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Acha s.a. the free kick. Gerardo Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 78th minute Gerardo Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriana Santo in the 79th minute of play forced Defensores del Acha s.a.'s goalkeeper Juan Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriana Santo in the 82nd minute of the match. Juan Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Defensores del Acha s.a.'s Juan Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Romero in the 88th minute of play. Defensores del Acha s.a.'s Inocencio Acuña got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Fiz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Barto saved Ceibalito from getting behind. If Gerardo Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
