Atanas Nedkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Sixto Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinchina's Anacleto Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Rio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesus Isias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Argentina getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fausto Paz hit a great ball. The supporters of Vinchina booed when Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Paz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Genaro Morientes had to leave the field with a concussion. 31 minutes into the game, Urbano Aresti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anacleto Rio made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Vinchina's Alejandro Baldovino got a free kick in the 54th minute. Simon Francho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixto Lauren. Vinchina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rando Einasto kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Atanas Nedkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Anacleto Rio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jesus Isias. Anacleto Rio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After some careless play in the Vinchina defense, Atanas Nedkov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Lauren. The Vinchina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Lauren should have stopped the shot. Rando Einasto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Isias having to interfere. Jesus Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Rio in the 86th minute of the match.
