After having played for 9 minutes, Mauro Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Tanqueta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Aaron Garci notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elida FC's Elias Ignado. Elias Ignado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th match minute, Elida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Oier to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zeledon Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Tanqueta's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Raymon took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Osasun. Patricio Osasun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After some careless play in the Elida FC defense, Aaron Garci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Ignado. The Elida FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Ignado should have stopped the shot. Mauro Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Ignado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.

Mauro Alfonsos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Elias Ignado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute Timoteo Quinito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aaron Garci in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Ignado saved Elida FC from getting behind. Elias Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Sportivo Tanqueta's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Peter came free, but Patricio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
