Patricio Osasun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Aaron Garci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Selmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Nace Cabezon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patricio Osasun. Nace Cabezon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Romeo Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Txerran in the 21st minute of the match. Evelio Blai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Patricio Osasun made a huge save. CLUB ATLETICO DON ORIONE's Fulvio Ursino quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 33 minutes into the game, Sportivo Tanqueta's Aaron Garci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Selmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ovidio Benet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeo Selmo. CLUB ATLETICO DON ORIONE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Patricio Osasun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nace Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bartolo Luzaide scored 3-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Osasun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Teofilio Llantada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bartolo Luzaide came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Patricio Osasun could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Garci was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulvio Ursino in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Aaron Garci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romeo Selmo. The goal made the score 3-2. Aaron Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th match minute, Sportivo Tanqueta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilio Llantada to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Nace Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Osasun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilio Llantada charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilio Llantada the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Sportivo Tanqueta got a freekick which was hit by Teofilio Llantada. Patricio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Osasun came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO DON ORIONE's Bartolo Luzaide. But to his dismay, Bartolo Luzaide quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Blai in the 83rd minute of play forced Sportivo Tanqueta's goalkeeper Patricio Osasun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Sportivo Tanqueta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilio Llantada to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Tanqueta's goalkeeper Patricio Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Sportivo Tanqueta's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Luzaide came free, but Patricio Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Sportivo Tanqueta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Txerran to maneuver through the defense.
