Narciso Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Malvin in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Arturo Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rusticones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dolar Blue FC the free kick. A collision led to Rusticones getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Arturo Berdaitz hit a great ball. Clodoveo Leizarraga scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Fliz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arturo Berdaitz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Anselmo Malvin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Fliz having to make a save. If Anselmo Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Malvin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Fliz having to make a save. Leonel Piarres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Fliz having to make a save. 31 minutes into the match, Rusticones's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Malvin came free, but Narciso Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Leizarraga in the 33rd minute of play forced Rusticones's goalkeeper Narciso Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Piarres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Fliz having to interfere. Leonel Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 46 minutes, Anselmo Malvin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Rusticones's Narciso Fliz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Dolar Blue FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rusticones's Narciso Fliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Rusticones from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Eliseo Baumar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rusticones's Narciso Fliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Rusticones from getting a goal against them. Leonel Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dolar Blue FC's Leonel Piarres got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot by Cipriano Guerrero from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Narciso Fliz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Anselmo Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Fliz having to interfere. Nestor Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Leonel Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Cutberto got free with Narciso Fliz in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Malvin in the 75th minute of play forced Rusticones's goalkeeper Narciso Fliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Fliz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Dolar Blue FC's Leonel Piarres. But to his dismay, Leonel Piarres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Narciso Fliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anselmo Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rusticones's Narciso Fliz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Malvin in the 91st minute of play. If Bernardino Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Narciso Fliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Malvin in the 96th minute of play. Leonel Piarres struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Narciso Fliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dolar Blue FC.
