After having played for 18 minutes, Cristobal Izotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bocabj Locura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Izotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Cristofor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Tabor in the 21st minute of the match. Bocabj Locura's Jonathan Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Bartuelo in the 26th minute of play. If Cipriano Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jonathan Cristofor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zonda. If Cipriano Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Miguel Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Cristofor came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Zonda's Cipriano Tabor. But to his dismay, Cipriano Tabor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Lázaro Calvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Shantala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Calvino having to make a save. Elvio Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lázaro Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 58 played minutes Zonda got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Herauso. Dante Bartuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Bartuelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Cristofor came out and tried to block the shot, but Dante Bartuelo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. With 71 minutes on the clock, Wilfredo Tiso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Erubiel Gombal walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Shantala in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Bartuelo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Erubiel Gombal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Angel Colon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Herauso during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vicente Herauso hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Cipriano Tabor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Zonda supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Zonda would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
