After 19 played minutes Central Cordoba got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Montay. Maximino Ilixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Clodoveo Guib fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Central Cordoba's protests and gave Clodoveo Guib a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of el gigante del norte booed when Central Cordoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Celso Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. el gigante del norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Hartz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximino Ilixo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Cipriano Vergaray made a huge save. A collision led to Central Cordoba getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Clodoveo Guib hit a great ball. Angelino Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cipriano Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Central Cordoba's Cipriano Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Igon in the 31st minute of play. Feliciano Bordat made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Angelino Igon immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, el gigante del norte's Angelino Igon got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ceferino Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albano Cidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. el gigante del norte's Federico Rojelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save el gigante del norte from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes of play, el gigante del norte's Angelino Igon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cipriano Vergaray was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cipriano Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Igon in the 58th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Clodoveo Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Central Cordoba booed when el gigante del norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute Angelino Igon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcelino Su had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Central Cordoba defense, Angelino Igon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Vergaray. The Central Cordoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Vergaray should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Central Cordoba's Federico Rojelio threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albano Cidro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Despite being the better team, Central Cordoba failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
