When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Desiderio Bartolome sped through Capricornio F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Donio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Bartolome in the 15th minute of play forced Capricornio F.C.'s goalkeeper Faustino Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Desiderio Bartolome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Donio. Capricornio F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Bartolome was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Desiderio Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Capricornio F.C. booed when Saladillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Erasto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Solustiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Desiderio Bartolome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Donio. In the 45th match minute, Saladillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Saladillo AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Capricornio F.C.'s zone, Atilano Leoiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Donio came out of the goal and Atilano Leoiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Venancio Sabin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Donio having to interfere. Faustino Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Saladillo AFC's Desiderio Bartolome in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capricornio F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Desiderio Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Atilano Leoiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilano Leoiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Capricornio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Bartolome came free, but Faustino Donio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Bartolome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Remir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Faustino Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Reynaldo Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Solustiano in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Victoriano Remir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Faustino Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Bartolome received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustino Donio came out and tried to block the shot, but Desiderio Bartolome slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's Venancio Sabin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faustino Donio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Atilano Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Bartolome had several of the Capricornio F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Faustino Donio as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle sounded Saladillo AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Capricornio F.C..
