After 18 minutes, Ramiro Ignazio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velez Jr. and the C.A. Parque Norte players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Ignazio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ladislao Indartsu scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Argenis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ladislao Indartsu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Honorato Argenis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Benvide in the 34th minute of play forced Velez Jr.'s goalkeeper Honorato Argenis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, C.A. Parque Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Erroman came free, but Leo Aires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Velez Jr.'s Ramiro Ignazio got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Ramiro Ignazio off the ground. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislao Indartsu was the one to do the kick off. Honorato Argenis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Indartsu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Indartsu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Argenis saved Velez Jr. from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Indartsu in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Argenis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Vinicio Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eleuterio Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Ladislao Indartsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velez Jr.'s Honorato Argenis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Erroman might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Erroman ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, C.A. Parque Norte's goalkeeper Leo Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Gonza. In the 73rd play minute Geronimo Gonza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leo Aires. 1-3. Geronimo Gonza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Aires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Eleuterio Benvide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Parque Norte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Benvide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Anastasio Ruy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Argenis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ladislao Indartsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Argenis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislao Indartsu in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Argenis saved Velez Jr. from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Velez Jr. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
