In the 5th minute of the match Los Pibes Futbol Chorro got a corner. Piratas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alvin Nuut ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bonifacio Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Nowacki was a little too slow when Cristian Pana got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 28th minute, Alejandro Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piratas FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Cristian Pana scored to the left of an out of position Stefan Nowacki, making the score, 2-0. Alejandro Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Alvin Nuut sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefan Nowacki skillfully saved the ball. Stefan Nowacki made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Federico Umea sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Federico Umea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Nowacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cristian Pana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Nowacki was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Umea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Los Pibes Futbol Chorro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piratas FC the free kick. The supporters of Piratas FC booed when Los Pibes Futbol Chorro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Xabat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Silverio Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Piratas FC defense, Cristian Pana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Nowacki. The Piratas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Nowacki should have stopped the shot. Stefan Nowacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Vela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Pibes Futbol Chorro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
