Tapalquén's Tobias Eli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Mon in the 10th minute of play. With a little luck, Ezpeleta FC's Melchor Luke got control of the ball when Arnoldo Balesio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cecilio Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Emiliano Mingo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Luke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ladislao Mambru went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Melchor Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Mingo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Eli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascual Justin went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ezpeleta FC's Melchor Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Mingo in the 35th minute of play. Emiliano Mingo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melchor Luke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Ladislao Mambru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Melchor Luke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ladislao Mambru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emiliano Mingo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tapalquén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Mingo couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pascual Justin to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Tapalquén got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Veronica. Tapalquén's Tobias Eli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Tapalquén from getting a goal against them. Emiliano Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Melchor Luke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Ezpeleta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Mingo came free, but Melchor Luke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezpeleta FC's Melchor Luke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Mambru in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tapalquén's zone, Pascual Justin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Eli came out of the goal and Pascual Justin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emiliano Mingo in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Luke saved Ezpeleta FC from getting behind. The supporters of Tapalquén booed when Ezpeleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapalquén's Ladislao Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Ladislao Mambru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Melchor Luke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Ladislao Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astor Normando hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Emiliano Mingo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tapalquén fully deserved thier win.
