Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rogelio Brion took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rogelio Brion struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Pastor Nayely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escalante AFC. When Alejandro Senon fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Federación's protests and gave Alejandro Senon a yellow card for diving instead. Alejandro Senon hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Brion in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pastor Nayely saved Federación from getting behind. Candido Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Pastor Nayely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Federación was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Alonso to maneuver through the defense. Joel Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Federación's goalkeeper Pastor Nayely had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Rolado. Humberto Pagomari came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Federación's Nestor Abeitia. But to his dismay, Nestor Abeitia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rogelio Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Nayely having to interfere. If Rogelio Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nestor Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute Rogelio Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Nayely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Rogelio Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalante AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Brion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Candido Rolado scored 1-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Nayely, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Candido Rolado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pastor Nayely having to make a save. In the 84th match minute, Escalante AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Hurko to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Filiberto Koldo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Escalante AFC's Humberto Pagomari didn't even have to move. Rogelio Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alejandro Senon hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Rogelio Brion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Nayely was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Pastor Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Rolado in the 95th minute of the match. Humberto Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Abeitia in the 96th minute of play. Escalante AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
