Sergio Lluciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Musko in the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute Neuquén were awarded a corner. Florencio Aragones went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Musko in the 14th minute of play forced Punisher VG's goalkeeper Sergio Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punisher VG's goalkeeper Sergio Lluciano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Froilan Froila notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Neuquén's Lorenzo Acosta. Lorenzo Acosta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Eusebio Luken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Neuquén booed when Punisher VG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Oriche didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neuquén's Lorenzo Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Oriche in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Neuquén's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Garin came free, but Lorenzo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Punisher VG's Marcos Urbez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lorenzo Acosta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Musko was the one to do the kick off. Lorenzo Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Oriche in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Froilan Froila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lorenzo Acosta. Neuquén's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Froila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Pastor Musko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Gabrio charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Gabrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 74 minutes into the match, Neuquén's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Froila came free, but Lorenzo Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Punisher VG booed when Neuquén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Emenon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Lorenzo Acosta managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Punisher VG's Froilan Froila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Froilan Froilas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Lorenzo Acosta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, Ismael Curcio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lorenzo Acosta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Froila in the 94th minute of the match. Julio Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Acosta having to interfere. Punisher VG's Froilan Froila got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Punisher VG played a much better game than Neuquén and deserved their victory. The Neuquén players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
