In the 12th minute Andrés Paillalef shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Frisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Calderón getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vladimiro Tximitx hit a great ball. Daniel Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Calderón's zone, Andrés Paillalef stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Frisco came out of the goal and Andrés Paillalef tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guampacha FC's Jeronimo Columbo got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the game, Guampacha FC's Andrés Paillalef nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Frisco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Nicolas Eguen came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Guampacha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Eguen couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Fidencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Raphael in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Andrés Paillalef dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Timoteo Frisco, 2-0. Andrés Paillalef who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Timoteo Frisco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elias Raphael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
